I would like to take into consideration the current filter of which the user applied on the tree (for example: Execution status)
How do I access and read the current applied filter from my workflow?

bug_fieldcanchange function is not working/enabling without refreshing defect.
Does anybody know how to resovle this issue. My code perfectly works when I Click on refresh button for a specific defect.

Hi,
When testing in HP ALM I am able to run tests just fine for some time through the Test Lab. However, I leave and come back to my PC and perform the exact same actions - Run with Manual Runner - and it generates an error.
"Error - Input String Was Not In A Correct Format"
I am not doing anything different in any of these sessions. It appears very random. Below are the error logs:

I know how to execute Actions like RefreshFilter... Can anyone tell me how I can use MoveTo and add the needed target (e.g. the test case that shall be selected automatically).

We are facing the same issue while trying to Login Sprinter. Authentication is working fine and while logging in error message is shown as " failed to connect to ALM unspecified error." The same user credentials are working while logging into ALM directly.
Sprinter verson-12.20 ALM Version-12.

In the requirements module, I would like to disable the "Folder". it will be enabled only if the user belongs to the TAAMIN group. The "folder option" can be accessed in 3 different ways. Refer the attached screenshot for details.
For all the 3 options, for UserGroups apart from TDAMIN, I was thinking of trapping the "ActionName" in the Function ActionCanExecute() and then display a message that "You do not have this access". But the user experience will not right. I would like to disable the "Folder" option, the moment the User logs in to QC.
Please suggest how can I do it for all the 3 options. Thanks!

I am have engaged HP professional service to do an upgrade from v11 to v12.2. At the same time, I am integrating AD. On checking the list of users in HP QC, I found that half of the User Name is different from my AD setup. To my surprise, the professional service says he does not have scripts to do that!
Does anyone have a sample of the Oracle 11 DB script to rename the User Name value of the users in HP QC so that I can then liaise with my DBA to do the changes?

after creating a custom paper basket to prevent deleting without approval, I am facing a bug I can't solve.
I forbid creating a folder named "TrashBin" with the folowing code:

It seems that there is an unfinished action in the backgound which blocks the cancel button because it only happens after clicking ok and working before even after entering TrashBin.
Is there any better way to prevent naming a folder "TrashBin" (It should also work when trying to change an existing one).

currently in the process of upgrading QC V10 to ALM V11.5. My users prefer the QCExplorer.exe to using IE browser. I cannot find an equivalent (ALM/QC)explorer.exe within the ALM installation or media. Does one exist for ALM V11.5 ?
I've seen a download link for ALMexplorer V12.53 here https://hpln.hpe.com/contentoffering/hp-alm-explorer-addin. Would this be backward compatable to V11.5 ?

We are planning to apply patch04 to the existing QC/ALM version of 12.01 as there is a company wide upgrade to Ms - Office 2016. Does anyone have any case study wherein it has been noticed that ther eis no need of applying patch 03 or patch 04 even being on Ms - Office 2016. Also if anyone can provide best practices guidelines to apply the patch apart from the HPE Guide we get in the software zip file, so that we can have a smooth patch upgrade. We have application server in windows and DB as MS-SQL Server 2012.
