I' am working on a customer project where we migrated from ALM On Premises ( ALM 11.5 ) on Saas (ALM 12.5 ) enviroment 2 month ago.
We are facing some issue with new excel add-in installed ( 12.5) .
Many customers receive " Failed to login " chech the url."Their pc have policy limitation on Internet explorer settings ( they cannot modify Internet options, security, trusted sites an so on ) , then we suggest to install the ALM explorer client and add the ALM url to whiteklist at domain and policy level.
After that they can connect to ALM by ALM Explorer but altought excel add in uses same url they receive error at login ( they connect via company proxy at Internet explorer level ).
I investigate the issue and seems that excel add in does't use proxy setting or is different from ALM Exporer.
I have tried to install client registration and connectivity files on customer machienbut the issue still remains.
How can address or solve the issue ?
