One of our ALM 12.01 users has a question concerining opening defects in ALM using the hyperlink that comes in via email, etc. Is there any behind the scenes magic that could make an ALM Defect hyperlink, actually open the defect details window? I know the link will take you to ALM and bring you to the defect item in the grid view, but it doesn't truly open the defect. I would like to see the hyperlink when clicked take you into the associated ALM poject and actually open up the Defect Details window for that defect. Is there a technical way to not only bring the defect into the grid view but also launch it/open it up?
