"HP ALM-Client is not responding".

The groups that I am supporting (and me) have been reporting an issue that we're not currently finding a resolution.

The configurations are WIndows 8.1 running IE 11 running HP ALM 12.5. (Most of the computers NOT experiencing this issue are running Win7 still). These unique configurations includes the following piece of software: LogRhythm Agent (which may or may not be contributing to the overal issue, we know that it is unique to one particular branch of the company).

Once logged in, generally speaking, any event that forces a dialog box to open and offers a positive/negative option, choosing the negative option causes the application to stop responding. At first, it seems nothing is happening and if you click the button again, then the "HP ALM-Client is not responding" dialog box appears. At this point there is nothing one can do short of using TaskManager to force IE closed. And any unsaved work is lost (which can be significant.) After three or more of these "hangs", it is generally considered to be necessary to reboot the computer because of its precarious state.

I've done a fair amount of investigation and have come across bubkis as far as information relating to this issue. I am reaching out to my network of like minded gurus here on the site.

I am happy to provide as much information as possible (considering the priprietary nature of the work the company does) to help you help me identify and possibly resolve this issue.

TIA!
