As soon as I select an Entity Type from the drop down (Tests) I get the error mentioned in the heading.

Error happened when communicating to ALM server:Value cannot be null
Parameter name:value
Has someone else faced this issue? How do I troubleshoot?
I have already tried the solutions mentioned in the link http://eyeontesting.com/questions/7298/getting-a-strange-value-cannot-be-null-parameter-n.html
and it didnt help.
