As we have started to see the Quality tab of Releases and Cycles to get the overview of defects progress for specific releases and cycles, it gets confusing. The count shown in the chart doesn't seem to match with the acutal record count in Defects for that specific releases/cycles and severity in most of the cases. Our current configuration:
1. We are using standard BG_STATUS field but user-defined list. However, 'Configure Outstanding Defects' in bottom graph shows the system list (Bug Status) (don't if there is any way to populate userdefined list). All the status (New, Review, Assinged, Fixed, Fail, Re-test, Deferred, Blocked) are in 'Visible Defects Status' except 'Closed' and 'Rejected'. We don't have 'Open'.
2. Detected in Cycle and Detected in Release is a required field. So it is all filled out for all defects.
3. Target Cycle and Target Release are all empty. So for the bottom graph, it is unchecked in 'Configure Outstanding Defects'
Our experiece with the graph in Quality Tab:
For Cycle: top graph shows totoal defects assinged to the cycle. bottom graph shows total oustanding defects assinged to ALL cycles within the ALM project. Shouldn't be showing result of just select cycle?
For Release: Count doesn't tally with with Defects count and graph is not accurate.
How can we make this Quality tab useful? Is there any specific setting to get accurate graph.
