fade out single grid filter in the Defect area

Hello,

is it possible to fade out some grid filter for a kind of user groups?

E.g. this user group should not be able to use the filter of "Created by", because there are all users of ALM viewable. This group must not see all other users. So the best way is when the filter section is like the column "Desription" (grey and not clickable) . But I think it´s not possible, because description is a memo field, right?

It´s not customizeable... So has anyone an idea?
