Prior to enabling the 'alm lab managment' extension on our project in ALM 12.20, our alm project supported manual and quick test professional tests (UFT 12.20). I enabled the extension in order to gain benefits of the lab management and scheduling and running automated tests on remote hosts overnight. Since the enabling of this extension, the alm project "type" droplists in Test Plan and Test Lab only contain options for "Performance" and/or "QuickTest_Professional" tests. In Plan, we we create a new test, the only options for test type are: Performance, QuickTest. In lab when creating a new test set, the only option is Performance. This is inhibiting us because we cannot create a test set for manual tests any longer, even QTP tests since the only test set option is Performance. And of course in test plan, we cannot create any new manual tests.
I have checked with HP and they are trying to reproduce. They mentioned my "edition", (license server) is stand alone, not full edition and this might not be supported (they're still working through finding that out).
Has anyone run into this problem using the Stand Alone version of ALM?
