In some cases it may be necessary to collect more detailed data in the ALM or AgM wrapper log.
This may be required for situations where ALM or AgM is not starting or there are suspicians where ALM or AgM start takes a very long time.
1) Open the file "wrapper.conf" for editing
For ALM, typically located in the path...
Windows: C:\ProgramData\HP\ALM\wrapper\wrapper.conf
Unix: /opt/hp/alm/wrapper
For AGM, typically located in the path...
Unix: /opt/hp/agm/wrapper
2) Find the string "wrapper.console.loglevel=INFO"
3) Change the value from "INFO" to "DEBUG"
4) Find the string "wrapper.logfile.loglevel=INFO"
5) Change the value from "INFO" to "DEBUG"
6) Find the string "wrapper.syslog.loglevel=NONE"
7) Change the value from "NONE" to "DEBUG"
8) Save the file
Then restart the ALM or AgM service/process to invoke the changes
Note: Because the "wrapper.log" file may become very large you may wish to delete the file as this is a running log where data is appended to the file.
