Hi,
I need some guidance on how to connect our new Application server to our existing database server. I have followed several steps suggested from the forum but still encounters an issue. My only main objective is to allow the users login to the new application server using their existing credentials without the need of creating a new usernames.
In addition, during installation of ALM on the new server, can I create a new Pass Phrase since we do not have any idea what was the Pass Phrase used from our existing ALM? Is this something I can copy from the Siteadmin.xml file from our existing server?
Once I created a new Pass Phrase, is this something I should request to DB Team to update on the database?
I need a step-by-step reference in doing this process.
