Force Requirement link for Test Case

In my previous company I worked on a QC10 instance that was set up to ensure the following:

Before a test case can be moved from Test Plan to Test Lab, the test case had to have a Requirement Linked to it via the "Req Coverage" tab within Test Plan.

Is there a setting I can use to achieve this or do I need to create a script to enforce this check.
