.NET custom test type question

We have ALM v 11.0 and I see documentation on creating a custom test type in C# .NET.  I am wondering if this is compatable in ALM v 11.0 or if I still need to develop an ActiveX COM object?  

Also, the documentation doesn't say anything about creating a Remote Agent using .NET.  Is it possible to also create a Remote Agent using .NET or do you still have to create it using Visual Basic ActiveX?
