I'm facing a simple looking problem I thought, but i couldn't get it done so far, that's why I reach out for help here.
What I need to do is allow project leaders to extract data from a build report (not an excel one) directly from excel without launching the HP QC.
I have found several information about connecting and tried to use select within a macro, but could not get the results I need.
What I want in detail:
An overview on daily basis is the progress of tests in a specific folder/testset ordered and grouped by date and status.
something like this
date/count of failed/count of passed/count of no run/ count of ...
Does someone have any idea what would be the easiest way to do this and may help with some lines of code?
