I hope someone can help before i go absoltely crazy, I've never seen an application that whinges so much about problems!
I'm managing a migration from XP to Windows 7 - one of the apps in quality center that needs to be taken across. I've got the MSI packaged in SCCM, and it installs quite happily onto the machine.
Running the QCClient.msi manually as an administrator, and then opening the QC URL in IE as a normal standard user works fine.
When i run the QCClient.msi as an Administrator through SCCM, it whinges about everything and it's dog not working, specifically this, I've tried running it as an admin installing for system, and installing for user, still nothing - I've also tried running it as a System account, again - still nothing
Following client components were not downloaded successfully:
1 . Client.cab :
This file has no signature
2 . Client.cab :
Cannot download.Check this file is present on server.
I need this to be centrally available via SCCM so the App is available on demand for users who require it. Manual installations i don't really want to have to resort to.
Has anyone on here been able to package this application for SCCM and get it working?
